Your Translated Documents
Your document is first transcribed, this is certified as a true transcript of the original. We can work initially from a copy of your document, however we must see the original document or a certified copy before certification. In some cases (e.g. Apostille) it may be necessary for the original document to have been signed by a solicitor or notary public.
The transcript is translated, the translation is then reviewed by a peer. NB Every translation is reviewed by a native speaker.
The document is certified as an accurate transcript and translation.
Where necessary the transcript and translation documents are bound together and sealed with the official seal of the Society.
Time Scales
We usually try to keep to a turn around of two to five working days depending on the workload and the size of the translation.
Particularly large jobs may take longer and an approximate completion date will be included with the estimate.
Urgent translations can be catered for; this is usually charged at double rate and we will try to maintain a turn around of 1 - 2 days. However depending on the urgency, size and complexity of the translation and the additional resources that may need to be utilised, we will be happy to negotiate a rate and timescale.
Where a signature of a solicitor or notary public is required we advise that approximately 5 working days should be allowed for.
Where an Apostille is required we advise that approximately 14 additional working days should be allowed for.
